Autocab Update

Autocab are doing an update at 1am on the 25/05/2021.

The following procedure is to be followed if you have your meter on between 00:59 and 01:10am

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A JOB OR USE THE TABLET DURING THIS TIME YOU WILL NOT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING. 
THE SYSTEM WILL AUTOMATICALLY UPDATE. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO START YOUR METER DURING THE UPDATE.

With your meter running, once you reach your destination.

  1. Swipe complete, if this fails go to step 2
  2. Pause the meter
  3. Collect payment from passenger
    • FOR EFTPOS YOU WILL HAVE TO MANUALLY ENTER THE AMOUNT ON THE EFTPOS MACHINE
  4. Wait for the tablet to reestablish connection to the server, or
  5. If the time is past 01:05am then you may be able to restart.
    • Press and hold power button until prompted, then press on restart.
    • You will then have to re-login to continue.
